Ms Pawluk's practice focuses exclusively on occupational health and safety and workplace safety matters. She acts for employers who are experiencing difficulties with regulators of workplace health and safety questions, including the WCB of British Columbia. She also assists employers concerned with their WCB costs. Lorna is a columnist with Canadian Occupational Safety and a member of the Board of Directors of the British Columbia Safety Authority. Lorna was an Appeal Commissioner with the Appeal Division of the WCB from 1991 until 2001. In that position she decided approximately 1000 appeals from decisions of the WCB. She has also been an adjudicator for the Employment Standards Tribunal and Legal Counsel to the Commissioner for the Industrial Relations Council.
