Mr. Tuytel is senior counsel with a practice focused on commercial litigation, including environmental and insurance-related claims and alternative dispute resolution. Mr. Tuytel has appeared before all levels of court as well as administrative decision-makers in British Columbia. He is winning counsel in two landmark Supreme Court of Canada decisions, regarding restrictive covenants in employment contracts: Shafron v. KRG Insurance, and overlapping insurance coverage: Family v. Lombard, as well as various cases in the BC Court of Appeal. Mr. Tuytel also acts as a mediator, and is a prolific author and speaker. |
