Practice Profile
David Jarrett received his LLB from the University of Alberta in 2007 and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2008 and to the British Columbia Bar in 2010. After graduating with his LLB, David completed a 10 month clerkship with the Court of Appeal of Alberta in Edmonton and then finished his articles with Brownlee LLP, a leading Alberta firm. Following his call to the Alberta Bar and his continued work at Brownlee LLP as an associate, David focused on general commercial litigation including contractual disputes, ownership of title to land issues, collections, commercial lease disputes, builders’ liens matters and bankruptcy and insolvency.
David is an associate with the firm practicing in the area of civil and commercial litigation and works closely with senior members of the firm on a broad range of legal matters including issues of maritime, contract, insurance and real property law.
David has appeared before the Alberta Provincial Court and the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench.
Prior to entering law, David received a BComm (with Distinction) in 2001 and a BA in 1998, both from the University of Alberta.
David’s personal interests include travelling, cooking and laughing. |
