Practising in the areas of
employment, insurance, health and administrative law, Katherine
has worked extensively with numerous public and private sector
clients including insurance companies, health care professions,
hospitals, health regions, self-governing bodies, school boards,
and municipalities. Called to the British Columbia Bar in 1991,
Katherine has represented clients at a variety of administrative
tribunals and courts. |

Following a maternity leave, Katherine
began contracting with Bernard & Partners in November 2003. |
Employed as associate at another
Vancouver lawfirm specializing in employment and labour from 1995
- 2001. |
Articled and employed as litigation associate with
a large downtown Vancouver firm from 1991-1995. |

Katherine has presented numerous
papers and seminars on employment, health and administrative law
issues. |
Katherine has also co-instructed
a course on legal issues in continuing care at Vancouver Community
College. |
